From the folks at horror news site Dread Central is their horror-themed subscription box, Box of Dread. Box of Dread is a lower-priced box with two different options. You can choose either $14 for 1 month or a 3 month plan for $13 a month and the shipping is $6. Every month they choose a “7th Box” at random worth over $200 in horror items. Each month has a general theme with this month being “Evil Dead”.

February’s Box of Dread included Ghosbusters Dorbz & Mymoji, a Funko Horror Pen & a signed Bear DVD.

Whack-A-Zombie

A small inflateable zombie that you can knock over similar to the classic clown ones. It also includes a small zombie book.

Dorbz

A Dorbz vinyl figure featuring a zombie from AMC’s The Walking Dead. For a re-animated corpse with a screwdriver stuck in it’s eye, it’s kinda cute.

Funko Mystery Mini

A small blind box vinyl figure from AMC’s The Walking Dead. Series 4 features a wide variety of survivors and zombies from the show and even Daryl’s bike.

BONUS ITEMS

Some neat extras this month including 2 Dread Central logo stickers in color and black &white. There’s also a large transparent Cthulhu window sticker and 2 plastic monster figures similar to the little green army men.

For fans of The Walking Dead this month’s box should be a hit with the Dorbz, Mystery Mini and the Zombie Inflateable. The bonuses included were a nice touch. Next month’s box includes an Exclusive Variant cover of the new Hatchet comic!

This collector’s edition of ‘BEAR’ is autographed by Freddie Wong! It’s what it looks like, a horror movie starring a REAL BEAR!

Vinyl Figure

From Funko is their line of DORBZ vinyl figures. This one is a Limited Chase Edition of Peter Venkman from Ghostbusters.

Mystery vinyl mini figures with different Ghostbusters characters and also includes a downloadable digital emoji.

Pen

A Friday the 13th pen featuring a Jason Voorhees topper stylized like a POP! figure.



 

 

 

 
An interesting mix of items this month with the Jason Voorhees pen, the Limited Edition Peter Venkman and the Mymoji. But what really sealed the deal for me is the Autographed special edition of Bear. Awesome!
